Job Title:
Business Development LeadWe are seeking a seasoned business development professional to spearhead our growth initiatives.
This role will be based in Mumbai, where you will:
- Be responsible for driving new business generation and retention of key accounts.
You will lead discussions with senior stakeholders and:
- Responsible for cross-selling products with existing clients.
- Proficient in claims advocacy and servicing.
- Well-versed with different insurers, their strengths, and weaknesses.
- Identify key decision-makers, clients, or prospects' risks, needs, and determine the services, products, and combinations that will best serve and address the client/prospect's issues and objectives.
- Conduct gap analysis of existing policies, suggest better terms, and negotiate the same with the markets.
- Retain and expand existing client relationships.
- Develop and maintain effective networks within the business community and industry.
- Built and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Visit insurance companies regularly to ensure continuous engagement with different stakeholders.
- Team Management Capabilities.
Requirements:
- Able to manage and build relationships with internal and external customers, insurance partners, and servicing vendors.
- Domain knowledge preferred.
- MBA degree.
- Technical knowledge - MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- 10-15 years of corporate relationship management experience from a service background.
- Able to manage diverse client cultures of Indian Corporate, MNC Corporation, and PSU clients.
- Experience in Insurance Companies/Insurance Broking company,
- Proven track record of success in sales roles with a focus on driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
- Deep understanding of Employer market segment and their unique demands and purchasing style.
- Proven ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively with teams at all levels to effectively close business.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies in a competitive market environment.
- Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of latest developments in Health and Benefits Space.
- Results-Oriented with a strong sense of accountability and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
