Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sales Development Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and developing new customer relationships, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing ones.

Your primary focus will be on identifying high-potential customers, understanding their needs, and persuasively selling our engineered solutions to meet those needs.

You will be responsible for making outgoing calls, generating leads, qualifying sales opportunities, and negotiating sales closes. Additionally, you will work with customers to understand their potential and communicate this to management, ensuring that all requirements are met in a timely and satisfactory manner.

  • Proactively generate, qualify, and close sales leads.
  • Establish and develop new customers within defined geographic, market, or industry segments.
  • Maintain and enhance existing customer relationships to increase business and product diversity.
  • Understand each account's potential to maintain or grow sales and communicate this to management.
  • Regularly contact the customer base and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all price, delivery, quality, and special handling requirements are met.
  • Coordinate large bids, quotes, orders, and opportunities with managers and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • University degree or diploma in any field, preferably in science/engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on telephone etiquette.
  • Goal-oriented and able to work at a quick pace, multi-task, and be self-sufficient.
  • Knowledge of tele-sales/telemarketing and customer service best practices.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and Hindi.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience within a distribution model and direct experience in technical selling into aerospace, defense, R&D, oil & gas, clean energy/e-vehicle, industrial electronics, electronic contract manufacturing services.
