Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Specialist - IT Infrastructure to join our team in Infosys Bangalore office.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide technical support and assistance to internal customers through our internal ticketing system.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handle Tier 1 help desk escalations and troubleshoot common IT problems.
  2. Perform basic windows administration tasks such as password resets and file and folder administration.
  3. Troubleshoot internet connection issues and escalate more complex technical problems to Technical Support Specialists or other IT experts as necessary.
  4. Fully document all troubleshooting steps and create knowledgebase articles for resolutions.
  5. Ensure timely resolution of requests and follow up on outstanding tickets.
  6. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the day-to-day operating environment, available tools, and client applications.
  7. Interact with IT management and team members frequently through timely reporting and communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3 – 4 years' experience in customer service or a help desk environment.
  • A strong interest in IT and a willingness to learn new technologies.
