Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Specialist - IT Infrastructure to join our team in Infosys Bangalore office.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide technical support and assistance to internal customers through our internal ticketing system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Tier 1 help desk escalations and troubleshoot common IT problems.
- Perform basic windows administration tasks such as password resets and file and folder administration.
- Troubleshoot internet connection issues and escalate more complex technical problems to Technical Support Specialists or other IT experts as necessary.
- Fully document all troubleshooting steps and create knowledgebase articles for resolutions.
- Ensure timely resolution of requests and follow up on outstanding tickets.
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the day-to-day operating environment, available tools, and client applications.
- Interact with IT management and team members frequently through timely reporting and communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 3 – 4 years' experience in customer service or a help desk environment.
- A strong interest in IT and a willingness to learn new technologies.
