Strategic Account Manager for Smart Lighting Solutions

At Smart Moves Consultants, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to lead our efforts in promoting and selling our innovative smart lighting solutions.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by building strong relationships with key accounts, including architects, lighting designers, and interior designers. This involves delivering education about the benefits and opportunities of our portfolio offerings, staying informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences, and leveraging this knowledge to refine sales and identify new opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Promotion: Proactively promote Company as a value-added solution to support new and existing partners and their stakeholders.
- Educational Strategy: Deliver simple yet comprehensive education about the benefits and opportunities of the portfolio offering, including understanding the complete ecosystem partners, hardware options, and integration capabilities.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key accounts to drive technology adoption.
- Sales Enablement: Provide sales training and support to Sales Partners, empowering them to effectively promote and sell solutions to their customers, specifiers, and trading partners.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences related to lighting and wireless control solutions.
Necessary Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5-7 years experience in sales generation from Lighting/Controls Industry is essential.
- Education or an equivalent education/experience combination in Sales, Marketing, and Business Administration is preferred.
- Proven past success in achieving and exceeding targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to company values and ethical standards.
- Proven proficiency in the use of CRM platforms and Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
