About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our Home Textiles division. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that drives revenue growth, manages key accounts, and leads a dynamic sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy aligned with company goals, identify new markets, customer needs, and growth opportunities, set, monitor, and achieve sales targets and KPIs for revenue growth.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet their individual and collective goals, conduct regular sales training, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Client & Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with key clients, negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction, work closely with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Market Analysis & Business Development: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and customer preferences, explore and expand the client base.
- Sales Operations & Reporting: Oversee the sales pipeline, forecasting, and budgeting processes, track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the companys home textile products, collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and market insights.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Design & Project, marketing, production, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of sales operations.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably within the textile & home dcor industry.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building high-performance sales teams.
- Negotiation: Excellent negotiation skills and experience in closing high-value deals.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the textile/home dcor market.
- Analytical: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with experience in market research and sales forecasting.
- Technology: Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and sales management software.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.

You are able to make quick and effective decisions in a fast-paced environment and are detailed-oriented and comfortable working in a matrix environment.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience
