About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team in Mumbai. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with existing clients, and providing technical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Management: Acquire and onboard new customers, build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and address customer needs with tailored solutions.
  • Sales and Project Support: Identify and track current and upcoming projects, provide product training and technical support to customers, and prepare comprehensive BOQs (Bills of Quantities).
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure all customer interactions and project details are documented in the CRM system and collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Market Insights and Strategy: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, provide feedback to the product and marketing teams for continuous improvement, and travel frequently to meet customers and support project activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a technical degree in engineering or a related field and at least 5+ years of proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the plastic piping or related industries. You should also possess excellent communication and presentation skills, strategic thinking and problem-solving ability, and adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English is a must, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and hands-on experience with ERP systems for sales and inventory management are highly desirable.

A competitive salary range for this position is ₹20,00,000 - ₹35,00,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
