About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development and Sales Manager to join our team in Mumbai. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and targeting group customers to generate business on behalf of our hotel while ensuring alignment with our World Sales Organization (WSO) efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate, draft, and confirm group contracts to achieve hotel budget and revenue targets
  • Adjust group pricing and recommend concessions as needed to secure group business
  • Utilize various prospecting resources to solicit and secure business on behalf of our hotel
  • Follow up on business inquiries and leads to generate room nights and associated revenue
  • Create and execute account plans to ensure maximum group revenue and budgeted targets
  • Uncover potential leads for sister properties and the company

Requirements:

  • Treat active selling, solicitation, and business development as the top priority
  • Protect the Golden-Selling Hours and allocate time and resources effectively
  • Handle sales calls and trips in a cost- and time-efficient manner
  • Establish and maintain strong Delphi hygiene, including account creation, tracing, and contact information
  • Understand and maximize the utilization of automated sales and reservations systems
