About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team at The Nielsen Company. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to our field staff, ensuring the availability and maintenance of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document software applications to ensure seamless support.
  • Test, install, upgrade, and maintain software applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and develop solutions.
  • Participate in the deployment of customer features and troubleshoot software and setup errors.
  • Escalate urgent problems to internal resources and participate in product team activities.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or similar.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Experience with C# development, Java, or Python is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Unix operating systems.
  • Experience with shell scripts and SQL queries.
