Job Opportunity: Regional Sales Expansion Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to manage our existing partnerships and products, while identifying new opportunities for growth in allocated countries.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with current partners to acquire new business, ensuring revenue targets are met for assigned regions.
  2. Analyze monthly stock forecasts from partners to inform ordering decisions and maintain a minimum 6-month inventory level.
  3. Negotiate pricing and costs with partners to ensure profitability for the company.
  4. Explore new market opportunities with regional health authorities to obtain special approvals and NOCs for emergency supplies.
  5. Tender received orders with support from the backend team and coordinate with the SCM team for timely delivery.
  6. Monitor partner payments and conduct follow-ups for on-time receipt of payments.
Additional Responsibilities:
  1. Provide marketing and conference support in handled countries to enhance the company's brand image.
  2. Develop and execute marketing strategies in partnership with local businesses to facilitate key conferences.
  3. Coordinate with internal medical teams to create promotional materials for existing products.
  4. Offer video conferencing support for international healthcare professionals.
Growth and Development:
  1. Identify and recommend new products within the existing portfolio to drive sales expansion in assigned countries.
  2. Conduct gap analysis and product mapping to identify new business opportunities.
  3. Prepare comprehensive business cases for new product feasibility and submit to regional leaders for approval.
  4. Collaborate with regulatory teams to process dossiers for new products and work with marketing teams to launch new products.
Operations and Logistics:
  1. Oversee sales order execution for smooth operations.
  2. Resolve bottlenecks by coordinating with relevant teams and validating all documentation related to orders.
  3. Manage batch-size issues with partners and internal inventory teams.
  4. Maintain adequate product supply in oncology, thalassemia, and ARV therapies for tender orders from cancer institutes.
  5. Manage 12-month rolling supply forecasts to achieve 75% accuracy for efficient supply chain management.
  6. Monitor lead time to ensure yearly targets are met.
Cost Optimization:
  1. Submit annual budget reports based on costs and sales targets.
  2. Audit cost sheets and document checking to optimize costs such as freight and other expenses.
  3. Evaluate portfolios for market entry strategies.
  4. Assist regional leaders in portfolio analysis and engage in business discussions with partners.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field from a reputable institution.

Relevant Experience:

  • 4-7 years of experience in business development within a pharmaceutical company, handling complex business regions, with 1-2 years of on-field exposure.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
