About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Modern Trade Sales Lead. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive sales growth, distribution, and visibility objectives in the modern trade channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including Reliance Retail, DMart, Health & Glow, and other modern trade partners.
- Negotiate favorable trade margins, schemes, visibility budgets, and marketing activation initiatives.
- Develop and execute in-store execution plans through planograms, displays, and merchandising initiatives to drive business results.
- Analyze market trends, sales data, and competitor performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives/merchandisers to ensure flawless ground-level execution.
- Optimize trade promotion ROI and maximize impact by analyzing spend and performance data.
Requirements
- MBA or Graduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in FMCG/BPC sales, with at least 3 years handling Modern Trade accounts.
- Proven track record of delivering sales growth and building successful partnerships in the modern trade channel.
