This is a critical role that oversees the entire human resources function, focusing on strategic workforce planning and operational excellence.
- Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Design and execute organizational plans that support business growth and success.
- Promote talent acquisition and management initiatives to attract top talent in the logistics industry.
- Operational HR Excellence:
- Oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
- Develop and enforce robust HR policies and processes tailored to meet business needs while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Drive continuous process improvement in HR, focusing on efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Talent Management & Development:
- Lead initiatives for employee training, leadership development, and succession planning to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Establish performance management systems that ensure regular feedback, evaluations, and career opportunities for employees.
- Culture & Engagement:
- Foster a positive work environment that reflects company values, promoting engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and management on HR-related matters, resolving conflicts proactively.
- HR Analytics & Reporting:
- Analyze data-driven insights to inform decision-making and assess HR program effectiveness.
- Regularly report on HR metrics (hiring, retention, employee satisfaction, etc.) to senior leaders.
- Change Management & Leadership:
- Lead HR aspects of business transitions, including team scaling, mergers, or reorganization efforts during growth.
- Demonstrate change management expertise by driving initiatives supporting business transformation and cultural alignment.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources.
- 8-12 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in logistics or related industries.
- Proven track record of leading HR for business units or verticals, with a strong focus on business-aligned HR strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Experience managing large, diverse teams across multiple locations or business units.
