Job Title: Strategic HR Lead

This is a critical role that oversees the entire human resources function, focusing on strategic workforce planning and operational excellence.

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Design and execute organizational plans that support business growth and success.
    • Promote talent acquisition and management initiatives to attract top talent in the logistics industry.
  • Operational HR Excellence:
    • Oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
    • Develop and enforce robust HR policies and processes tailored to meet business needs while ensuring regulatory compliance.
    • Drive continuous process improvement in HR, focusing on efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Talent Management & Development:
    • Lead initiatives for employee training, leadership development, and succession planning to build a strong talent pipeline.
    • Establish performance management systems that ensure regular feedback, evaluations, and career opportunities for employees.
  • Culture & Engagement:
    • Foster a positive work environment that reflects company values, promoting engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and management on HR-related matters, resolving conflicts proactively.
  • HR Analytics & Reporting:
    • Analyze data-driven insights to inform decision-making and assess HR program effectiveness.
    • Regularly report on HR metrics (hiring, retention, employee satisfaction, etc.) to senior leaders.
  • Change Management & Leadership:
    • Lead HR aspects of business transitions, including team scaling, mergers, or reorganization efforts during growth.
    • Demonstrate change management expertise by driving initiatives supporting business transformation and cultural alignment.
Requirements:
  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources.
  • 8-12 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in logistics or related industries.
  • Proven track record of leading HR for business units or verticals, with a strong focus on business-aligned HR strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing large, diverse teams across multiple locations or business units.
