Job Title: Reservation Executive

Prime Function:

  • Plan and coordinate room reservations to maximize room revenues.
  • Develop and implement effective selling techniques and strategies to increase room sales.
  • Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the reservation department's operations.
  • Communicate any matters affecting the hotel's interests to management.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Marketing Planning
  • Prepare and submit timely forecasts for review.
  • Develop and maintain monthly reports, forecasts, and other relevant reports.
  • Assist in the development of occupancy forecasts for the annual budget.
People Management
  • Provide effective support to the team to ensure efficient services.
  • Respond to customer queries and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure the team is trained on all safety provisions.
Financial Management
  • Optimize the use of resources and educate the team on cost-effective practices.
  • Maintain and update the corporate database to ensure accurate guest information.
  • Assist in the development of occupancy forecasts for the annual budget.
Operational Management
  • Ensure the team refers to guest history before creating a guest folio.
  • Position the hotel accurately in terms of occupancy and room availability.
  • Record corporate account numbers on guest folios to monitor business generated.
  • Calculate overbooking and provide discounts and corporate rates as per company policy.
  • Supervise and delegate work to reservation associates.
  • Record all reservations according to standard procedures.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as delegated by management.
