PrimeFunction:
Plan the roomreservations.
Ensure properselling techniques and strategies are utilized to maximize roomrevenues.
Coordinateall duties and responsibilities of the reservation departmentensuring a high level of accuracy andefficiency.
Any matter whichmay affect the interests of the hotel should be brought to theattention of theManagement.
KeyResponsibilities:
Sales & MarketingPlanning
Plan &prepare forecasts on a timely basis forreview.
Plan &prepare monthly reports forecasts and other relevantreports.
Ensure that thevarious monthly statistical reports are generated and assist in thedevelopment of occupancy forecasts for the annualbudget.
PeopleManagement
Provide effectivesupport to the team to enable them to provide effective andefficient services.
Respondto customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficientmanner to ensure customersatisfaction.
Ensurethat the team has been trained for all safetyprovisions.
FinancialManagement
Identify optimalcost effective use of the resources and educate the team on thesame.
Maintain and updatecorporate database entering guest bookings to ensure guestinformation / records are kept up to date and accurate for futureevents.
Assist in thedevelopment of occupancy forecasts for the annualbudget.
OperationalManagement
Ensure that teamrefers to guest history before creating a Guest folio to followspecial instruction in case of regular and VIPGuests.
Ensurethe accurate positioning of the hotel in terms of occupancy androomsavailability
Ensurethat the corporate account number is recorded on the Guest Folio tohelp monitor quantum of business generated through respectivecompanies.
Ensurecalculativeoverbooking.
Give discountsand corporate rates as per the companyspolicy.
Supervise anddelegate work to reservationassociate
Ensure that allreservations are recorded as per standardprocedures.
Handleadditional responsibilities as and when delegated by theManagement.

Applies the hotelssecurity regulations (in case of fireetc)
Respects the hotelscommitments to the Environment Charter (saving energy recyclingsorting waste etc) and meets Novotel ISO 14001 environmentalcommitments as applicable to the role if the hotel is involved inthe programme.
