Rug Designer

We seek a talented Rug Designer to drive our company's creative direction and develop modern rug designs for our contemporary hand-made carpet business in India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive creative direction plan across various product lines
  • Share innovative concept ideas for themes and collections to enhance our portfolio
  • Create distinctive designs for themes in multiple qualities and textures of collections identified
  • Stay abreast of new fibre, yarn, and weave ideas for manufacturing excellence
  • Plan exhibition stand design for collections being showcased
  • Design captivating room settings with rug designs
  • Design engaging catalogues and social media content
  • Travel to factories and exhibitions as required

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree or diploma in design is mandatory
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience is required
  • Knowledge of carpet techniques: hand tuft, hand knotted, handloom is essential
  • A working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw, Indesign, etc. is necessary
  • Galaincha software is preferred
