We are looking for a skilled and experienced Firewall Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network protocols, concepts, and technologies including SSH, FTP, ICMP, TCP/IP (IPv4 & IPv6), Network Address Translation (NAT), SNMP, IPSec, GRE, QoS, and VLANs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, responding to all chats, emails, and phone calls consistently, and entering all relevant data from customer contact channels into tracking system. They will also assist with troubleshooting and resolution of all tickets that can be processed from start to finish by level 1 as defined by management.

Additionally, the candidate will work well under pressure with limited supervision while consistently displaying a professional demeanor. They will also have the ability to follow processes and escalate issues consistently, and resolve a variety of external technical requests including virtual private networks, protecting data integrity, and assisting the retail industry with the send/receive of proprietary data.

\

Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Meraki and Fortinet firewalls, and effective interpersonal and consulting skills to be used to align customer needs to tactical and strategic solutions. They will also have high level of ethics and integrity, and scheduling flexibility required.
