Job Title:

Network Security Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Specialist to drive growth and innovation in our organization.

  • Responsible for implementing and configuring firewall devices
  • Supports change management activities and works closely with LAN, WAN, Cyber Security teams on connectivity approvals
  • Works closely with Network Capacity Analysts to plan and manage demand and capacity

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with firewalls (Checkpoint Firewall, Palo Alto Firewall, Cisco ASA Firewall) and working knowledge of Cisco Data Network, Nexus 7k, EIGRP.

They should also have experience in routing, switching, LAN, WAN, SDWAN and good understanding of Azure Cloud -ExpressRoute, VNET Configuration.

A Check Point certification (CCSA) or PaloAlto Certification (PCNSE) would be a plus, as well as a CCNP Network Certification.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implementing and configuring firewall devices
  2. Working with Change Management team to implement changes
  3. Collaborating with Program Manager and Project Manager to develop implementation plans
  4. Supporting LAN, WAN, Cyber Security teams on connectivity approvals
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Data Network, Nexus 7k, EIGRP
  • Experience in routing, switching, LAN, WAN, SDWAN
  • Good understanding of Azure Cloud -ExpressRoute, VNET Configuration
