Role Overview

We are hiring a Cybersecurity Specialist (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing – VAPT) with 1–2 years of experience for our onsite team in Kanpur Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. This role involves conducting security assessments, configuration reviews, and supporting compliance audits, offering strong career growth opportunities in cybersecurity consulting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for networks, web & mobile applications, APIs, and cloud environments.
• Conduct configuration reviews of firewalls, servers, and cloud platforms.
• Identify, exploit, and document vulnerabilities with remediation recommendations.
• Deliver technical reports and executive-level summaries.
• Support clients in regulatory compliance audits (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, RBI, SEBI, IRDA).
• Research and stay updated on new vulnerabilities, exploits, and security tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Cybersecurity with focus on VAPT.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, MITRE ATT&CK.
• Hands-on with tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, Wireshark, Kali Linux.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of server and firewall hardening techniques.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Preferred Certifications: CEH, eJPT, OSCP, CompTIA Security+ (not mandatory).
