Business growth requires strategic planning, skilled execution and innovative thinking. A Business Development Manager plays a vital role in expanding the business network of an organization and ensuring the success of new business associates.
The key roles and responsibilities of this position include:
- Recruitment of business partners/associates: Identify potential partners who meet the company's criteria and align with its brand values, develop strategies to attract qualified candidates, conduct initial screenings, interviews and assessments to evaluate their suitability and commitment.
- Sales process: Guide potential partners by providing them with detailed information about the business opportunity, business model, investment requirements and support services, negotiate terms of the company agreement, coordinate with legal and financial teams to facilitate the sales transaction and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Training and support: Provide ongoing training and support to ensure the success of business associates, including guidance on business development strategies, market trends and competitor analysis.
This role is ideal for experienced professionals with a strong background in business development, sales and marketing. Key qualifications include:
- Experience: 8-11 years in business development, sales or marketing
- Education: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, science or business administration
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
