About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Collection Specialist to join our team at NielsenIQ. As a key member of our Accounts Receivable Department, you will be responsible for ensuring timely payment of invoices and maintaining effective relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain assigned accounts, including customer calls and correspondence, to ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Collaborate with the I2C Manager and Revenue Controller to define collection targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Identify and record customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities, and escalate these issues to the Revenue Controller and CS team.
  • Support the Cash Applications team on invoicing reconciliation and payment identification.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve client disputes and short payments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts and perform other assigned tasks and duties as necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • Fluency in English and local language mandatory; third regional language preferred.
  • Experience working in a multinational, multi-cultural environment and with remote counterparts.
  • Minimum 7-9 years of experience working in collections.
