FCL Sales Representative

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive Full Container Load (FCL) freight sales and expand our international logistics capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive industry knowledge, a proven track record in FCL sales, and the ability to build strong client relationships through strategic partnership development and relationship management.

The role requires proactively identifying business opportunities, aligning pricing strategies with market conditions, and coordinating end-to-end shipment execution to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop new FCL business opportunities through market analysis and strategic relationship building.
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets for FCL freight volumes and revenue by leveraging market intelligence and negotiation skills.
  • Maintain strong relationships with importers, exporters, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to foster growth and loyalty.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and negotiate rates with clients to secure new business and maximize revenue potential.
  • Collaborate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless shipment execution and delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date on shipping line schedules, rates, space availability, and market trends to inform business decisions and improve competitiveness.
  • Provide market feedback to internal teams to refine pricing strategies and enhance service offerings.
  • Manage CRM records, update customer interactions, and prepare regular sales reports to track progress and optimize performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Proven experience in FCL sales or freight forwarding industry, with a strong understanding of international shipping practices and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Target-oriented and self-motivated individual with a strong customer focus and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools to manage sales activities and report performance metrics.
