Job Description:

As a seasoned logistics professional, you will be responsible for coordinating the operations of both Imports and Exports departments. Your key objectives include ensuring timely and accurate operational processes, speedy delivery of cargo to customers, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Operational Functions
  • Coordinate operations for Imports and Exports departments, monitoring workflows and resource management to ensure timely and accurate operational processes.
  • Ensure speedy delivery of cargo to customers.
  • Comply with all regulations of customs authorities and other governing bodies.
Financial and Accounting Functions
  • Set goals and objectives for the team in accordance with company guidelines and performance indicators.
  • Use established financial tools appropriately to ensure all accounting matters are finalized to maximize revenue.
People Management Functions
  • Lead, motivate, and manage all operations teams.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews; establish targets and objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with freight forwarding procedures and financials.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field (commerce, international trade, logistics preferred).
  • 5+ years of industry-related experience required, preferably in freight forwarding.
  • 2+ years of team management experience, including managing team leads or shift managers.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, data integrity, and customer service mindset.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven.
  • Outstanding people skills; customer-driven, business-savvy.
  • Able to handle complex problems, multitask efficiently.
