Job Title:

Global Supply Chain Leader

Our company is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our ocean freight operations in the West region. As Global Supply Chain Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance, service quality, and cost efficiency.

  1. Manage FCL, LCL, imports, exports ensuring high-quality services and competitive procurement rates.
  2. Drive revenue, gross profit, and cost optimization targets for the ocean freight product.
  3. Develop strong relationships with carriers, NVOCCs, and vendors to secure optimal space allocation and improve customer satisfaction.
  4. Collaborate with sales and account management teams to support business growth and expand market share.
  5. Maintain regional performance through KPIs (transit times, documentation accuracy, operational efficiency) and take corrective action to ensure service reliability.
  6. Foster a culture of adherence to company SOPs, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements while driving process improvements and digitalization.
  7. Lead, mentor, and develop the regional ocean operations team ensuring engagement, capability building, and performance delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 10-12 years of relevant working experience in logistics with regional or P&L responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills both short-term/tactical and long-term/strategic.
  • Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs processes.
  • Exposure to cost-optimization or process re-engineering projects.

  • Ability to manage conflict and drive alignment across functions.
