
Strategic Sales Professional

As a seasoned sales professional, your primary objective will be to identify and cultivate strategic relationships with key decision-makers in the enterprise segment.
You will proactively seek out opportunities within this space, targeting large-scale merchants and strategic accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive solutions that deliver tangible value to clients.
- Customize these solutions to meet unique client needs and ensure favorable contract negotiations.
- Focus on pipeline management by providing accurate forecasts to senior leadership while staying informed about market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing new Enterprise merchants
- Growing the wallet share for existing portfolios assigned to you
- Ensuring commercial and contractual closure with merchant partners
- Liaising with channel partners to generate leads for merchant sourcing
- Handling portfolios and serving customer inquiries
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A thorough understanding of payments, e-commerce, fintech, and technology-enabled commerce businesses in a solution-selling environment
- Experience driving merchant, acquiring, or payment partnerships with a deep understanding of the payments industry
- Strong communication and aggressive selling skills
- Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and business acumen
- Effective time management and organizational skills
Prior qualifications include:
- A graduate or postgraduate degree with a minimum of 6+ years of experience
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sales Force CRM software
