Job Description
This position involves providing leadership to the Business Intelligence (BI) team, guiding the development and implementation of robust analytics and reporting strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient delivery of BI solutions, overseeing ongoing performance and reliability of BI systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and Manage BI Operations: Provide leadership to the Business Intelligence (BI) team, guiding the development and implementation of robust analytics and reporting strategies.
- Strategic Data Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for various business units.
- Develop BI Solutions: Design and develop BI dashboards, reports, and other analytics products that provide real-time insights into business performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a BI subject matter expert (SME), working closely with stakeholders from various departments to provide insights and analytics that drive business value.
- Team Mentoring: Mentor and develop a team of BI analysts, providing guidance on best practices for data analysis, dashboard design, and problem-solving.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and measure the success of BI initiatives, ensuring that business stakeholders are benefiting from actionable insights and timely reporting.
Requirements
- Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Analytics or a related field; MBA will be preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in BI & Data Analytics and web analytics, with at least 3 years of experience in lead role.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar platforms along with experience in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages used in data analysis.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights, Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and collaborate across departments, and Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
