Key Role: Credit Risk Analyst

About the Position:

  • We are seeking an accomplished Credit Risk Analyst to join our team.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to assess creditworthiness and mitigate potential risks associated with large corporate clients within the Corporate Conglomerate Group.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop comprehensive credit appraisal reports that highlight key trends, risk factors, and recommendations for large corporate clients.
  2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to determine terms and conditions for risk assessments, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  3. Conduct in-depth interviews with customers to gather essential information for the preparation of Credit Risk Assessment Notes (CRANs).
  4. Monitor client accounts based on specified terms by the sanctioning authority, identifying potential risks and areas for improvement.
  5. Compile and submit regular monitoring reports for the portfolio, highlighting key trends and recommendations.
  6. Develop and implement action plans to address non-compliance issues, escalating concerns as necessary.
  7. Perform site visits to assess compliance and submit inspection reports, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in credit underwriting for small to medium enterprises or large corporate clients is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and analysis.
  • Experience in project finance and/or infrastructure sector credit analysis is desirable.
  • A recognized accounting qualification (CA) or an MBA degree, combined with a professional certification in finance (CFA), is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills are crucial for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
