**Affordable Housing Analyst Role Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analyst to contribute to the development of innovative affordable housing initiatives. As an Analyst, you will play a key role in structuring deals and applying for funding from various governmental sources.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Funding Application Preparation: Prepare detailed MS Excel-based funding applications for Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Tax-Exempt Bonds, State, County, and City funding sources.
  • Support Documentation: Prepare comprehensive support documentation for the funding applications, including MS Word and Adobe PDF files.
  • Tracking and Research: Monitor and track documents and checklists to ensure timely submission of applications, and research new funding opportunities and expansion possibilities.
  • Development Finance Process: Work on other aspects of the development finance process, including predevelopment and construction closing, conversion, and compliance.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • A Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Real Estate, Underwriting, Financial Modelling, or Financial Research.
  • Background in Financial Analysis, Project/Infrastructure finance, Credit Analysis, Valuation, and Balance Sheet Analysis is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF.
