  • The role of a Business Development Manager is critical in identifying and targeting potential clients in the power and mining industry. This includes building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and conducting market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and customer needs.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and objectives. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and proposals for clients, preparing and delivering persuasive presentations and proposals, negotiating and closing deals, and monitoring and tracking industry developments and customer feedback to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • The incumbent will provide regular reports and updates to the management team on business development activities and progress. The ability to work independently and remotely, managing time and priorities effectively, is also essential for this role.
  • A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, as well as willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and industry events, are also required for this position.
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in new business development and sales, with a proven track record of finding and acquiring new customers.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university is required, along with excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
