Job Title: Application Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to join our team. This role will involve providing high-level technical support and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of our Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise and support for the installation, development, and administration of Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications.
  • Develop and maintain complex business rules and calculation scripts using Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase tools.
  • Design and implement metadata extraction, load, and update processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Build and maintain Smartview ad-hoc reports to provide timely and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production system issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in installing, developing, and administering Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with webforms and reports development, including vulnerability remediation and security patch management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and teams.
  • Experience with Unix, Linux, Informatica, and/or OBIEE is a plus.
