Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in software procurement and be able to negotiate with vendors to obtain the best possible pricing, terms, and conditions for software purchases.

The Procurement Specialist will work closely with leaders in the organization to understand software needs and recommend the most appropriate solutions. They will also ensure that all purchased software meets the company's specifications.

  • Research and Evaluate Software Products: Identify software products and services that meet company needs and budget requirements.
  • Negotiate with Vendors: Negotiate with software vendors to obtain the best possible pricing, terms, and conditions for software purchases.
  • Organize Procurement Activities: Organize all procurement activities relating from Purchase Request to Purchase Order (PR to PO) in ERP system.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of software licenses, subscriptions, and renewals.
  • Monitor software usage and recommend software license optimization strategies.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and developments in software products and services.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. 5 to 15 years of experience in software procurement, preferably in a product company.
  3. Familiarity with software licensing and contract management.
  4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
