Land Acquisition Position

The company is looking for a professional to lead the land acquisition process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Market Research and Land Sourcing
    • Conduct research to identify potential land parcels for development.
    • Build relationships with brokers, landowners, and government agencies.
    • Shortlist lands based on factors such as return on investment (ROI), internal rate of return (IRR), and payback models.
  • Deal Negotiation and Closure
    • Negotiate agreements with landowners and other stakeholders.
    • Structure deals that align with the company's goals and objectives.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis and Feasibility Studies
    • Prepare detailed financial analyses and feasibility studies for potential projects.
    • Work closely with the finance team to ensure funding needs are met.
    • Present acquisition proposals to senior management.
  • Stakeholder Management and Reporting
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, brokers, and government agencies.
    • Provide regular reports to senior management on progress and pipeline performance.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Candidate Requirements:

Education: Graduate degree in a related field, MBA or BE Civil preferred.

Experience: 8-15 years in land acquisition, preferably in Bangalore.

Skills:

• Strong negotiation and deal closure skills.

• Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills.

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
