Branch Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of disbursement targets with minimal delinquency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring daily/weekly collections targets are met;
  • Conducting regular field visits, centre meetings, and loan applicant follow-ups;
  • Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking and controlling normal dues, non-starters, delinquency, and frauds;
  • Building strong client relationships internally and externally;
  • Leading and managing teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.

You will be responsible for assessing potential client bases and product acceptability in new regions, areas, and opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a sales officer in the microfinance business, with a basic understanding of the microfinance business and joint liability group model working.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A fresher to maximum of 5 years' experience as a sales officer in the microfinance business;
  • Familiarity with the microfinance business and joint liability group model;
  • Excellent relationship management skills;
  • A flair for sales and business sourcing;
  • Critical attributes of customer service understanding.
