Data Transition Coordinator
Job DescriptionAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of data transition activities. Your primary goal will be to ensure seamless transfer of data from legacy systems to the target platform, while maintaining accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and audit standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Transition Planning & Strategy: Develop an overall data transition strategy, scope, and roadmap in alignment with program objectives and timelines. Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, mapping rules, and transformation logic.
- Execution & Delivery: Lead the execution of data transition activities across all project phases: extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, and reconciliation. Manage migration of master data, transactional data, and historical records from legacy systems to the target platform.
- Data Quality and Governance: Define and enforce data quality rules, cleansing standards, and validation procedures. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of migrated data with regulatory and audit standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve issues promptly.
- Documentation and Support: Provide detailed documentation and support to ensure successful data transition.
Required Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in data transition, data integration, or data management roles.
- Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle data transition for a major ERP, HCM, or CRM implementation.
- Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN etc.
- Experience with data transition tools.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, master data management (MDM), and data governance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Project Management Skills.
