Territory Head Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Territory Head to lead our team in South India. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire territory, identifying business growth opportunities, and developing strategies to achieve territory targets.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage Team Leaders of both FOS and Contact Center teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to TLs and their teams.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet and exceed targets on dealer onboarding, productivity, asset, liability, and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify new business opportunities and work with teams to expand the customer base and market presence in rural areas.
  • Oversee the collections process to ensure timely and effective recovery, with a focus on minimizing delinquency and default rates.
  • Implement robust collection mechanisms and collaborate with TLs to resolve complex collection issues and enhance recovery rates.
  • Accountable for reducing delinquency rates and improving recovery rates.
  • Streamline operations to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness of FOS and CC teams.
  • Complete ownership of recruitment, training, KPI setting, and performance monitoring of the reporting team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the teams.
  • Manage end-to-end retailer and farmer relationships, including pitching, onboarding, loan booking, collection, and result tracking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local influencers, including community leaders and government officials etc.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base in the designated region.
  • Scan market updates and stay informed on emerging trends government schemes and other local news
  • Identify potential regions and assess opportunities for geographic expansion of operational areas.
  • Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Direct Reporting to TLs and Indirect Reporting to FOS and Agents.
  • Responsible for the overall Profit & Loss (P&L) for the assigned territory.
  • Ensure the growth and quality of the portfolio, keeping the profitability of the Zone as the topmost priority.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: MBA
  • Location: South India
  • Language: Kannada, Telugu, and English Mandatory. Other South Indian Languages Preferred
  • Industry: Candidate with Rural Banking experience is a must.
  • Experience: 7 - 10 Years of Banking Experience
