Head of Mining Comminution Sales

The role of Head of Mining Comminution Sales is responsible for driving business growth in the minerals industry in India. Key responsibilities include leading marketing, sales, and strategy efforts for Enduron High Pressure Grinding Rolls and other Mining Comminution Products, maintaining relationships with customers, and analyzing market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead marketing, sales, and strategy efforts for Enduron HPGR and other Mining Comminution Products.
- Analyze market trends and potential for HPGR applications.
- Propose and initiate new business activities in conjunction with the Sales team.
- Responsible for quote process through the Applications Engineers, Product Managers, and Process Specialists.
- Play a key role in the Sales process and contract negotiations as prime contact between the customer and the Commercial team located in India and overseas.
- Build and maintain relationships on management level with engineering companies, contractors, end-users, and owners in the mining and mineral processing industry.
- Analyze competitor developments and safeguard or increase the Enduron HPGR market share.
- Liaise regularly with management and staff of Weir Minerals India and make use of its Sales network as applicable.
- Translate customers' enquiries into sellable Enduron HPGR technology solutions with the support of the Application Engineers, Product Managers, Process Specialists, and the Sales team.
- Report by means of call reports, CRM updates, and market plans and a personal business plan.
- Provide management with accurate and timely information necessary to make strategic, investment, and operating decisions.
- Advise management with respect to macro environment and factors that are affecting the mining sector as a whole.
- Responsible for supporting route to market, identifying targeted markets, market positioning, and other marketing management strategies to acquire new customers and grow the market share.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or mining.
- Industry insider with 15 plus years of commercial track record in high-quality technical capital goods.
- Strong communication skills (English), verbal and in writing.
- Willingness to travel intensively in the territory.
