About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking economic performance and policy debates in India's economy and real estate sector. They will also analyze the impact of various economic policies on the market.

This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. The ideal candidate will have a post-graduate degree in a relevant field (Civil Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Economics) and at least 5-7 years of experience in real estate research or syndicated research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track economic performance, investments, policy debates/reforms in the India economy & real estate sector.
  • Analyze the impact of various economic policies on the real estate market.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the Indian real estate market, including city-wise segments such as residential, commercial, retail, logistics, warehousing, and co-living.
  • Manage databases and verify data accuracy.
  • Produce high-quality reports, white papers, and press briefings on policy reforms and market trends.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop thought leadership content and position Meraqi as a leading expert in the field.
Requirements:
  • Post-graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in real estate research or syndicated research.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary range of ₹1200000 - ₹1800000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
