We are seeking a skilled Federal Proposal Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing RFP/RFQ/RFI processes, bid management, and capture management within the US Federal government contracting space.
As a Federal Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing compelling proposals that showcase our company's capabilities and services;
- Managing end-to-end sales life cycles, including lead generation, bid management, and capture management;
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop account penetration strategies and account-specific sales plans;
- Preparing customer- and vertical-specific sales collaterals, such as capability presentations, case studies, solution documents, and white papers;
- Anchoring responses to proactive (proposals) and reactive (RFP/RFI) bids as a single point of contact (SPOC) for timely submission.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in pre-sales and proposal writing within an IT services or staffing company;
- A deep understanding of the US Federal government contracting landscape, including SLED contracting;
- Experience in RFP/RFQ/RFI management and a good grasp of end-to-end sales life cycles;
- Strong presentation skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to prepare proposals, case studies, and marketing collateral;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Hands-on experience in proposal writing is mandatory.
