Scientific Subject Matter Expert (SME) Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our Business Development Operations team. As an SME, you will play a vital role in developing high-quality proposals and contracts, aligning them with study protocols, and integrating scientific best practices.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in scientific/medical writing, proposal development, or contract management to drive business growth and strong sponsor relationships.

  • Develop and manage the coordination and development of business proposals and contracts for prospects and clients.
  • Optimize proposal design by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs described in RFPs and associated documentation.
  • Identify and communicate risks associated with proposals and contracts.

With 2+ years of experience in scientific/medical writing, proposal development, or contract management, and a Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science/MIS, Science, Law, or related area, you will be well-equipped to succeed in this role. Additionally, a strong understanding of regulations and industry standards, such as 21CFR Part 11, Good Clinical Practices (ICH E6 GCP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDP), is essential.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science/MIS, Science, Law, or related area.
  • 2+ years of experience in scientific/medical writing, proposal development, or contract management.
