Job Overview

  • The Deputy General Manager Finance will be responsible for analyzing financial and operational results to understand business performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • They will assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring that processes and procedures are adhered to.
  • Another key responsibility is to review performance trackers every month for variances with budget and forecast, and prepare business-oriented bridges for all line items.
  • The Deputy General Manager Finance must also ensure timely reforecasts and weekly forecasts at all business units.
  • Monitoring Key Performance Metrics for business unit verticals and support functions on a monthly and daily basis is also essential.
  • Detailed analysis of operating costs and overheads, along with suggestions for improvements leading to cost management and efficiency in operations, is required.
  • This role involves providing timely and accurate reports as required by shareholders.

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant with 10-15 years of experience
  • Experience working with Oracle ERP is preferred
  • Ability to develop financial reports and metrics
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
  • Collaborative and analytical skills are essential
  • Data scientist experience is an added advantage
