Job Title: Chief Corporate Origination Strategist
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced corporate origination strategist to join our team. As a key member of our banking unit, you will be responsible for identifying and segmenting target corporate clients and developing a sustainable corporate banking business in India.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and segment target corporate clients and develop a comprehensive understanding of their financial needs and goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, existing/target corporate commercial relationships, to originate business and meet financial targets.
- Review the portfolio in a timely manner, establish appropriate account plans, and recommend credit facilities in line with the bank's credit policy to maximize earnings while containing risk to an acceptable level.
- Manage the day-to-day tasks of the Unit, train, develop, motivate, and evaluate the team.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A CA/MBA degree or equivalent experience in corporate relationship management.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of corporate relationship management experience, preferably in the banking industry.
- An in-depth understanding of best practices in corporate banking and knowledge about the local banking market and regulatory framework.
- Knowledge of RBI guidelines for corporate banking business.
