Job Title: Enterprise Java Support Specialist

About the Role:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Java Support Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide Level 2/3 application support for enterprise Java-based applications.
  2. Perform root cause analysis, issue resolution, and incident management using effective problem-solving skills.
  3. Monitor application performance and proactively address potential issues to ensure high system availability.
  4. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements.
  5. Manage and execute deployments using automation tools such as Jenkins and Harness.
  6. Support in job scheduling, monitoring, and reporting using tools like Autosys/Control-M.
  7. Work with observability tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK, Grafana) to identify and resolve system bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
  8. Document processes and resolutions as part of knowledge management to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.
  9. Participate in on-call rotations and handle high-severity incidents as required to ensure business continuity.
Required Skills:
  • Core Java programming skills.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts.
  • Experience with MongoDB and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Tomcat and WebLogic servers.
  • ServiceNow and JIRA administration skills.
  • Shell scripting and Unix/Linux operating systems expertise.
  • Splunk and ELK logging and analytics experience.
  • Grafana and Prometheus monitoring skills.
  • Autosys and Control-M job scheduling proficiency.
  • Jenkins and Harness automation tool expertise.
  • Kubernetes containerization knowledge.
  • Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management practices.
