Java Application Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Java Application Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our support group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of our Java-based enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Java and production support environments, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 2/3 application support for Java-based enterprise applications.
  • Perform root cause analysis, issue resolution, and incident management.
  • Monitor application performance and proactively address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Manage and execute deployments using automation tools.
  • Support job scheduling, monitoring, and reporting using tools like Autosys/Control-M.
  • Work with observability tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK, Grafana) to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
  • Document processes and resolutions as part of knowledge management.
