Procurement Leader

The Procurement Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing effective purchasing strategies to drive optimal cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

This strategic role requires strong negotiation skills, market insight, and leadership abilities to achieve organizational procurement goals.

  • Purchasing Strategies: Develop and execute plans to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the purchasing team to meet departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable pricing, terms, and service levels.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.

To succeed in this role, the Procurement Leader should possess:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic negotiations, vendor development, and cost optimization.
  • Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, contract law, and market dynamics.
