Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by converting customer interest into sales, establishing new partnerships, and nurturing strong relationships with existing customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Reporting
  • Customer Engagement: Respond to inquiries, support the customer journey from browsing to repeat purchases, and monitor sales performance across products and collections.
  • Reporting: Weekly reports on sales trends, customer feedback, and competitor benchmarks.
  • Campaign Alignment: Work closely with marketing to align campaigns with sales pushes.
Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Sales
  • Abandoned Carts: Personalized follow-ups and offers to encourage conversions.
Wholesale & Partnerships (B2B)
  • New Business Development: Identify and pitch to multi-brand stores, boutiques, and gifting platforms.
  • Partner Onboarding: Manage pricing sheets, lookbooks, and samples to onboard new stockists.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relations with partners to secure re-orders.
Community & Events
  • Brand Representation: Represent at pop-ups, exhibitions, and PR activations.
  • Lead Generation: Collect leads and convert them into sales opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable with numbers.
  • Social, approachable, and customer-first mindset.
  • Organized and proactive in follow-ups.
  • Experience in retail is a bonus.

KPIs / Success Metrics:

  • Monthly revenue targets achieved.
  • Number of new partnerships onboarded.
  • Conversion rate improvement.
  • Customer retention & repeat purchases.
