Fund Accounting Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accountant Manager to deliver accurate and timely Net Asset Values (NAVs) while performing various types of reconciliations between clients' general ledger data and market data providers.
The role is a blend of product knowledge and technology usage, requiring coordination with clients and external sources for break resolution and maintaining quality delivery as per standard operating procedures.
The role demands the ability to work under tight deadlines and maintain excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing open and close-ended hedge funds with reconciliation and integration of trades for clients.
- Accounting/booking of corporate actions trades.
- Daily/weekly/monthly GAV/NAV preparation, including booking of capital activities and market value reconciliation.
- Computation of profit and loss for financial instruments.
- Expense accounting, dividend accrual reconciliation, bond coupon accrual reconciliation, and confirming trial balance ledgers tie-up with sub-ledgers.
We require a Chartered Accountant or MBA with 5+ years of experience, in-depth understanding of US GAAP and IFRS, good understanding of financial/capital markets products, and hands-on experience with MS Excel and formulas. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. A certification course in financial markets/products and experience with general ledger accounting software are desirable.
