Senior Associate- Fund Accounting

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated candidates to join our team as a Senior Associate in Fund Accounting.

The role is an integral part of our globally connected team that liaises with Private Equity Firms across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing daily cash reports for active private equity secondaries funds by collating data from administrators, banking providers, and internal forecasts using our data visualization tool.
  • Reconciling movements in capacity, loan balances, and forecast capacity to prior day reporting, adjusting manual forecast data for new deals and uncertain cash flows based on latest information.
  • Reviewing cash management proposals from administrators for internal cash movements within fund structures and instructing them to make additional cash movements as required.
  • Formulating proposals for near-term cash management, including loan drawdowns/repayments, money market fund subscriptions/redemptions, and FX trades.
  • Liaising with fund owners within the Treasury team to review and agree proposals.
  • Preparing loan instructions and FX instructions to send to administrators and other 3rd party service providers.
  • Closing collaboration with the treasury team, including daily meetings to discuss cash management topics, what's happened in the day, what to consider for next few days, and medium-term investor cash flow planning.

Requirements:

  • Post-graduate / CFA / CA / MBA / CCRA / CIIA / CAIA or equivalent qualifications.
  • At least 9 years of experience in fund accounting is preferred.
  • Managing and/or leading employees for 2-3 years.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of PCAP and quarterly preparing PCAP.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively identifying ways to enhance processes and outcomes that benefit the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize a large and varied workload, managing multiple tasks and details simultaneously.
  • Initiative, willingness to learn, and take on responsibilities as a contributing team member.
  • Solutions-focused and able to work in unstructured environments under minimum or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office with strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
