Fund Accounting Specialist

We seek a seasoned Fund Accounting Specialist to manage financial reporting and compliance across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monthly Close Management: Oversee monthly closes, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance in collaboration with senior accountants and partners.
  • Fund-Level Accounting: Execute full-cycle accounting in QuickBooks or similar, tracking income and equity across structured deals.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare management reports and investor-ready financial statements for review.
  • Portfolio Company Oversight: Review financials from 1–5 portfolio companies, flagging variances and recommending improvements.
  • GAAP Compliance: Ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting across diverse industries.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of direct fund accounting experience (private equity, private debt, or fund admin required).
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-entity consolidations.
  • Industry Background: Experience working with companies in the $10M–$100M revenue range.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting platforms.
