About the role
We are looking for a Debt Funding Specialist with expertise in raising debt funds and experience in NBFCs or Small Finance Banks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise debt capital from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
- Build and manage relationships with lenders, financial institutions, rating agencies, and investors to secure funding.
- Structure debt transactions, negotiate loan terms, and ensure optimal funding costs.
- Ensure adherence to RBI/NBFC regulations and maintain compliance with lending frameworks.
- Develop funding strategies to optimize capital structure and liquidity management.
- Assess funding risks and mitigate exposure.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in raising debt funds from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
- A strong network with lenders, including banks, NBFCs, DFIs, and structured finance players.
- Prior experience in NBFCs or Small Finance Banks is essential.
- Expertise in structured finance, term loans, working capital loans, and credit lines.
- A solid understanding of RBI/NBFC regulations, due diligence, and loan documentation.
- Strong negotiation, financial modeling, and stakeholder management skills.
