Job Description

Crest Ventures Limited, a leading Non-Banking Finance Company, is seeking a skilled Director of Land Acquisition to spearhead its land sourcing and acquisition strategy.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing land parcels in targeted micro-markets, evaluating feasibility, engaging with brokers and landowners, and facilitating the entire acquisition and closing process.

This role presents an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal part in building India's leading Build-to-Rent (BTR) platform.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Land Sourcing and Evaluation: Identify and evaluate land parcels in pre-defined target micro-markets.
  2. Network Building: Build and maintain a strong network of brokers, landowners, developers, and other intermediaries.
  3. Market Tracking: Actively track market opportunities and upcoming transactions.
  4. Due Diligence: Conduct initial due diligence, including land title, zoning, FSI potential, ready reckoner rates, and development control regulations.
  5. Feasibility Studies: Coordinate with internal analysts to prepare feasibility studies, financial models, and market assessments.
  6. Deal Facilitation: Assess alignment of land parcels with Crest EZY's product design and business model.
  7. Stakeholder Management: Organize and facilitate meetings between key stakeholders, including legal, finance, and management teams.
  8. Transaction Closure: Work with legal counsel, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of deals.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Architecture, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or investment.
  • Strong knowledge of Mumbai Development Control Regulations (DCR) and land acquisition processes.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and closing land transactions.
  • Established network with brokers, landowners, and developers in MMR (mandatory).
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
