Job Title: Land O&M

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Land Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of our land-based projects.

About the Role
  • Manage all land-related activities for operational wind and solar power projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and minimizing risks associated with land use.
  • Maintain and update lease agreements, land titles, and possession documents for all project sites, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Track lease renewals, handle negotiations with landowners, and ensure timely lease or rent payments, building strong relationships with local communities.
  • Liaise with local authorities to manage land records, tax payments, and statutory obligations, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Support O&M teams by resolving issues related to access roads, transmission lines, and internal movement within the sites, providing expert guidance and advice.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to land, such as encroachments, litigation, or non-compliance with local laws, taking proactive steps to minimize impact.
  • Ensure compliance with local land regulations, zoning laws, and environmental norms affecting land use, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Assist in audits and due diligence processes by providing updated land documentation and reports, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as land management, law, or business administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience in land management, operations, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
