About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Land Acquisition Manager to lead our land acquisition efforts across the region.

  • Identify and acquire suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects, considering technical feasibility, connectivity, and regulatory clearances.
  • Oversee the end-to-end land acquisition process, including scouting, negotiation, documentation, registration, and handover.
  • Build and manage relationships with local landowners, agents, revenue officials, district-level authorities, and government departments.
  • Conduct title due diligence and ensure legal sanctity of land through coordination with legal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with state-specific renewable energy policies.
  • Keep track of local land price trends, zoning regulations, and state incentives to ensure cost-effective deals.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Supervise a field team of land officers, surveyors, and external consultants.
  • Handle conflict resolution and address any legal or community-related land acquisition issues.
  • Regularly update management on project progress, risk factors, and mitigation plans.
What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, law, or environmental science.
  • At least 5 years of experience in land acquisition or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
